Our Team are not just stopping there; multiple fund raising activities to add to the Sport Relief grand total have been initiated, these include a raffle, car wash, Office Olympics and fancy dress themes. Contact Centre Manager Michelle Havercroft to encourage donations has agreed to be put in stocks and have wet sponges thrown at her if the Team manage to raise over £500.

Sport Relief, is one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events and the money raised will help change the lives of people living both here in the UK and in the world’s poorest countries. The Snow Leopard is an endangered species and we recognise the importance of both protecting and raising awareness of these animals to help keep the species alive. AVC Group are delighted to announce that we have begun working closely with Kent based Wildlife Heritage Foundation (WHF) a UK charity; dedicated to raising awareness and funding to ensure the survival of big cat species throughout the world.

The WHF also participates in the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme for Snow Leopards and AVC Group are hoping that the latest additions and breeding pair of Snow Leopards, Ranshan and Laila will successfully mate and produce future offspring.

Jersey based Smart Home have been named as Control’s UK Dealer of the Year for 2011 for home automation in a region that not only covers Great Britain and Europe but also the Middle East, North Africa and much of Asia.  The accolade was announced at the Europe, Middle East and Asia Dealer-Distributor Awards at ISE Europe in Amsterdam this month (February 2012).

Through the introduction of WOW, a waterless vehicle wash spray, our gleaming Snow Leopards deliver a coherent national service that is integrated with local communities whilst saving over 8,580,000 litres of water a year; that’s enough to fill over 8 London 2012 Olympics sized swimming pools.

An industrial car wash uses approximately 200 litres of water, whereas WOW needs no water at all; it is simply sprayed on and wiped off. It is already getting excellent reviews from the field and has the added bonus of being eco-friendly, bio-degradable and non-toxic.
