The AVC @Home Team are going that extra mile as our Inverness Contact Centre will play a major part in the fund raising marathon for Sport Relief 2012. Our team of over 90 volunteers will cover the lines for 5 hours from 7pm to midnight on Friday 23rd March 2012 accepting donations from the general public during the televised fund raising event BBC’s Sport Relief: Night of TV.

AVC Recycling has opened its new recycling facility in Warrington to continue development of its “Reuse and Recycling” segregation and treatment of electrical waste. The new facility successfully gained AATF (Approved Authorised Treatment Facility) accreditation following inspection form the Environment Agency.

In 2011 AVC Group launched its “Green Ideas” initiative aimed at reducing our carbon footprint. Our well recognised Snow Leopard fleet, associated with great customer service in over 2 million homes per annum, is set to save millions of litres of water a year by using a waterless vehicle cleaner.
